I'm sure that someone else has already done this but I contacted Mary Louise Gay and her publicist to let them know about Stella and that she is a big fan of the Stella and Sam books. I'm not sure if anything will come of it but I thought that I would try anyway. I hope that you are all doing well (as well as can be expected). I pray for Stella every night and I check your site daily for updates. Stella looks so great holding her baby brother Sam. She's a Pro!Sending all my love to your family.

Hi again, I'm an old old friend of Aimee's from gradeschool, and I just wanted to let you guys know I check your blog often, and think of you all daily. Congrats on the birth of baby Sam, and I really hope that Aimee recovers soon, and the 4 of you can spend some time together, as a family, a beautiful family at that. You are all inspirational writers, and people, and are touching the lives of so many people through this blog. I am sending you all my positive thoughts and energy your way,
    Andrea

Thank you so much for sharing your little angel with all of us. As a mother myself of two little girls, I can only begin to imagine what you go through every day. I may not have ever met Stella Joy, yet she is someone I don't think I'll ever forget. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

    Hi there
My name is martin williams and i own a landscape company. Your story has really touched my wife and i whom also have young children my two year old Kieran whom was born only a few days before Stella and who also shares such great curls and our 4 year old Grace. Your story has really touched and bothered our hearts as the pain you guys are going thru seems quite simply unfair. Every year around this time we start our holiday lighting company where we professionally supply design and decorate peoples homes for the holidays. (see some work @ christmasdecor.com) Every year we donate our products and services to churches, we once did a battered womens housing co-op) etc. and feel that if it would brighten up your spirit or Stellas @ all we would love to light up your home or a tree (or both) absolutely no cost and would do it right away at your convience....we have already doanted to the quilt project but i want to help and do more.
as i can only imagine the split feelings your families having right now on the elation of your new born but the sickness of sweet Stella.I have had thoughts on contacting you guys a few times but worried about timing etc...
    my email address is mwilliams@nutrilawn.com
if you think it would lift Stellas spirit pls dont hesitate to contact me as we would love to help!
    Gods speed
    Martin

Ever since I came across your blog I think about you guys every day. I am by no means religious but as the birth of my first child nears closer and closer I find myself praying alot and many of those prayers are for Stella and your family. I can not even begin to imagine what you all are going through and I hope that it is something that I or no one else ever has to live through. Though I know that the chances of you guys waking up one morning and Stella having a miraculous recovery are unrealistic, I still hope that it will be the outcome of all of this. Your strength and courage are an inspiration as it that of Stella. I want to send all of my love to your family as there can never be enough love. I wish you all peace and commend you for not taking things for granted and for making every moment of Stella's life precious.
