Stella is many things. As was evident early, she is a force to be reckoned with. She is inquisitive. She is intelligent. She is hilarious. More than anything else, Stella is her aptly given middle name: Stella is joy.

I live in England, and check in each day to see how you are all doing. My two young children are my life and you are dealing with something that, in this day and age, should not happen to any child. I admire how you are dealing with caring for Stella, especially with two younger children to look after aswell. You are all an inspiration and seeing the photos of Stella's beautiful smile, and your family and friends making her life so love filled is heartwarming to see. There are children who go their entire lives, who do not experience the love, support and attention that Stella is getting from you and your army of friends and family. This blog is full of life, and has certainly made me re-think what is important. I have cried (and laughed unexpectedly), as I have read it. I am thinking of you all, and hope that Stella's fiery spirit and smile stay with you always.xx Much love. xx

I just heard about your beautiful little angel and am a loss really for the words that just cannot convey what I am feeling for you. The love of a parent for a child compares to none! As a mother of 2 grown children I can't imagine how heartbreaking and difficult your journey has been and will continue to be in the coming days. Your love and strength for Stella will carry you all forward. As you continue to cherish every moment and create everlasting memories with her know that our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I am friend's with a family friend of yours, Cassandra, she had told me about Stella a few days after she had been diagnosed and ever since then I have been updated by her and kept tabs on your website checking up on this little angel Stella. She is honestly such a beautiful little girl and the strength you both have is phenomenal. Sam is also such a joy to see, those pictures you have of him with that cute little smile of his is adorable! I would just like to say that you all are truly an inspiration. Stella is such a strong little girl and has come so far. I hope you lovely ladies are staying strong and I hope the pregnancy is going well. You are always in my thoughts and in my prayers.

A friend of mine shared your story today with me. My sister also has brain cancer, and so far has been lucky enough to buck all the trends that typically come with her diagnosis. It's hard enough when it's your sister going through it, I can't imagine it beign my child. Love and hugs to your entire family and know that despite not knowing ya'll my thoughts will be with you.

Hello Sweet Ladies,
Val has told me of your story and I've followed along on Anne's page to see how Stella was doing for some time. I don't quite know what to say, but you need to know that lots of folks who don't know you have been moved to tears and prayers by the power of your love for each other and for your beloved children. It's obvious that Stella's life (though far too short it may come to be) has been filled with the most amazing love any child could hope or wish for. I hope that knowledge can help you all through the days and weeks to come.
The power of your love and strength and I am guessing faith has humbled me and I'm sure many others.
Thanks for having the courage and wisdom and maturity to allow us all to follow your courageous journey.
By the way, I'm Val Allen Besserer's mom.
With love and prayers, Chris
